Residential

What a typical job involves.

More than 500 residential projects, from single rooms to whole houses. These are the usual stages for each type of job. Your quote sets out the exact scope for yours.

Kitchen

Old kitchen out, new kitchen working, with the building work and services in between.

  1. Survey, measure and agree layout, units, worktops and appliances
  2. Protect the rest of the home, strip out and remove waste
  3. Building work: walls, openings, floor preparation
  4. First fix plumbing, electrics and extraction
  5. Plastering, then units, worktops and appliances fitted
  6. Second fix, tiling, flooring and decoration
  7. Snagging, clean and handover with warranties

Bathroom

Bathrooms, shower rooms and en-suites, including the waterproofing and pipework hidden behind the finish.

  1. Survey and agree layout, sanitaryware and tiles
  2. Strip-out and waste removal
  3. First fix plumbing, drainage, electrics and ventilation
  4. Boarding, tanking and waterproofing
  5. Tiling, then sanitaryware and fittings
  6. Second fix, testing, sealing and decoration
  7. Snagging, clean and handover

Whole-house renovation

Several trades over several months, run to one programme and one itemised quote.

  1. Survey, drawings and approvals in place
  2. Programme and payment stages agreed
  3. Strip-out, structural work and alterations
  4. First fix plumbing, heating and electrics throughout
  5. Plastering, joinery and kitchen and bathroom installation
  6. Second fix, flooring and decoration
  7. Testing, certificates, snagging and handover

Refurbishment with bespoke elements

Refurbishment where some pieces are made for the space.
